Finding Cable Lengths
How to Measure for Cable Length:
Cable lengths are measured from eye-to-eye. So using a piece of sting or wire, trace the path you want the cable to follow from stud to stud.
It is best to order a cable slightly longer than what you think you need because a cable that is too short can cause strain on the cable, accessory and even the surface the accessory mounts to. A little extra slack will normally just be absorbed in the cables path so keep that in mind when measuring for length.
Common Cable Lengths for Reference:
- Fender Grounding Bolt -> PowerTray: 1-2ft
- Main Battery -> PowerTray: 2-3ft
- Aux Battery Pass Side -> PowerTray: 5-6ft
